Robin,

Best of luck with your new ventures. I saw you speak at the New England Scholastic Press Association conference in May, and came away very impressed.

Perhaps we could get you to visit our high school in late August or early September as a guest lecturer/consultant, as we're looking to bring our school newspaper online for 2009-2010.

I know our paper's editors and staff would really enjoy meeting and learning from you.

Your site is professional, dynamic, and, if you'll allow me this adjective - beautiful. It's a true testament to what young people are capable of when they give something their all. You deserve all the kudos you get.

Thanks for the fantastic work.

I am worried, very worried for the future of WSPN. But I have faith that with the promotion of WSPN and the possible new members who could turn in to better, stronger leadership than what WSPN is left with.

I was shocked when I first heard about Robin Kim's decision to resign. Robin was the one who inspired me to make my own Twitter. I will mourn the loss of Robin and be sure to check his web page everyday.

Love ya Rob!

@ LA

All I'm saying is that Robin invested a ton of time into this. A TON. I am fairly confident that he was the one who created all these divisions, came up with many ideas, pushed for the TV, etc. I find it difficult to believe that these new and innovative ideas can be created by your average homo sapien. Hopefully, my prediction is wrong.

And no, nobody has to tell me anything. I believe if you were to reread my post you would see that all I did was say that it would be nice if the future editors announced their plans. That's all. Just a little preview.

to Senor buchnanan; why should anyone tell you anything. just because you read everyday doesn't mean you get an all access pass to behind the scenes of WSPN. furthermore just because the founder is leaving doesn't mean creativity and innovation will decrease. that statement completely diminishes all the hard work of every staff member.

Congratulations Robin~!

I am sure that it was not an easy decision to make. It may feel like a parent seeing their child go to university, in another state or country, for the first time by them self. I think it is a wise and very mature decision.

Yes,,,, everyone is surprised~!!!! However, I think it gives other students and faculty the opportunity to see if "WSPN" has legs, as well as the kind of investment it takes to create excellence!

May God Bless you in your continued enterprises.

I'm not surprised Robin is resigning, it is a big responsibility and it must have taken a tole on his high school life. I believe he deserves a break.

Thank you, Robin, for setting the "Gold Standard" for all High School web sites AND teaching everyone how to maintain what you designed. You deserve a "Year Off" and I am sure you will continue more of this artistic media in your future. xoMrs.E

OH NO! ROBIN!

I agree, WSPN has made a huge impact on the community (some view it as favorable but some don't).

I'm interested to see who takes over next year, and what it will be like.

OH I just had an idea. We, the avid readers of WSPN, should be told who next year's editors will be and they should inform us of their plans next year.

Here is what I think will happen next year: WSPN will still win the awards, but I think that the innovation and dedication behind WSPN will decrease.

Listen, I know that you've been working hard on the site for a long time, and it's probably been taking a toll on you, but i really don't think that its time yet for you to pass the torch!

When you think about it, Rob, you've only done this for 3 years, and you still have another to serve in your highschool. After that, the burden will immediately be taken off your shoulders, the reigns passed on, and the ball will be forever removed from your court.

You're leaving prematurely, and i have to say that this leaves a really bitter taste in my mouth. You're an inspiration to us all at Wayland and i really think the paper won't be the same without you.

Sorry if its harsh, man, but toughen up and stick to it for one more year! You'll get over it, and you'll be making me, Tutwiler, and the rest of the school really happy in doing so!

Don't go Robin!

You've been an insperation to all of us and I won't be able to sleep at night knowing you won't be incharge of Wspn!

I hope this doesn't mean that you are going to stop writing your very informative and well done articles for the paper.
